You are viewing the most recent 20 entries September 21st, 2004August 12th, 2004: hmmm i havent updated in a while, so heres whats happened i got home from france hung out with kaare for like a week got ready to sail the vallery to the apostles then didnt go. put the boat ive been working on in the water only to find that the self bailer thats supposed to get water out of the boat leaks, how ironic. saw dodgeball and anchorman, dodgeball was awsome and then i hung out with people inbetween everything yup i hate self bailers all that damn work and now the self bailer needs work July 27th, 2004: for all those who call me/called me orly, this is one of the best moments this year, i have finally beaten orlando bloom, thats right i have killed orlando bloom (aka legolas bloom) the elf is dead no more pretty boy elf running around with a bow HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH in your face Anna and Rackface!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! now i need a replacement for orlando bloom any sugestions? oh and niki was there and so she helped and gets some credit too Current Mood:  contentCurrent Music: james bond theme song July 16th, 2004: visting erin and erins vist So I haven’t updated this thing in awhile anyway, on the 8th I left for London. But I missed the train because we tried to find a parking spot in an underground parking lot for the train station. Now all the other underground parking lots in Paris are labeled so when its full a little light goes on and you know not to park there, because it takes about 15 minuets to get threw one of those things. Well we went it only to find that it was full. So then we decided to just drop me off. Well for the door only taxis can drive up so we drove around until I decided to jump out and run to the door. Once I was there and at the ticket thing, they told me I had to be there a half hour earlier for international trains, and I would have been had it not been for the god damn parking lot. So the lady stamped my ticket and told me to go get one for the next train. So I did and I didn’t have to pay for it, but the lady was real bitch (the one behind the counter not the one who stamped my ticket) and the funniest thing is that their computers are so primitive that it didn’t print out my new ticket, no instead the lady went into a back room and wrote it out by freaking hand. So once I was in London I had already missed Erin who had left for her prom, and they weren’t letting visitors come, so I hung out with her sister. The next day I saw Erin and then we went to go and hang out in London. She started missing stops on the underground. And so I made it into a game to distract her and try to make her miss her stops, lots of fun. The next day we went to ascot and saw the horse races, it was really cool. Then on the 11th we headed back for France. We got here just fine and just hung out around here for the rest of the day. The next day we went on a long bike ride to a city big enough to have a “video vending machine” we got there and looked around the city for it and when we finally found it we found out we needed a credit card, so that sucked. We headed back and hung out some more. On the 13 we went and were dropped off in old Le Mans. We ran around there for a while. And then were picked up in front of the cathedral. We raced back home, and got there and threw on some horseback riding stuff and then went to the stables Erin and I and Donny went horseback riding in the woods and in a field, it was tons of fun. Erin is used to riding western but she did really well and picked up English in like 5 min. that night my parents friends and their 5 kids arrived (god that’s too many). The next day we went to a city with canals that crissed crossed everywhere. We rented 3 little boats to take out in the tiny canals, with a top speed of a knot when the wind is behind you and really, really bad handling (I counted out 5 to 15 seconds, depending on what you were doing and where the current was). We raced up and down for a while and then we started playing bumper boats, I was very bond like and boarded an enemy boat to get their key and stop there engine. And then yesterday we drove erin back and now I got to go. May 17th, 2004: mad so i was supposed to go see a movie with a while bunch of friends today, so much for that a ton of people didnt want to or couldnt. then one decided to go and make other plans to go and see the movie without me then said oh im sorry cant really do anything seeing as ive allready made plans last night, even though they were part of the plan to see the movie today with me for the last week, now they're not seeing it and im at home alone pissed off while all my friends are doing stuff and the rest have ditched me Current Mood:  angryMay 3rd, 2004: been a while so i havent posted in here for a while and lots has happend, had my ups and downs and although im kinda goin down right now, at least i see the up and its to happen soon. i went paintballing with grant yesterday for 5 hours, man that was a blast, although neither grant or i could bend our legs, due to how sore we were from being crouched for soo long. and grant even has wounds on his back from a basterd who shot him point blank with an automatic when he was allready out, i just have one on my right shoulder (grant u basterd the game was over) im looking for the close of the normal school year although i dont thik i will be able to go on the trip round the lake and so thats a bummer, i was lookin forward to that, oh well. kumdo is going well, there is a tournament this summer i hope i can go to it, ive allready thrown in some of my fencing moves into my bag of tricks. and i guess thats all fro now. April 17th, 2004: part 2 so now i go and eat and come back and the adult lesson starts and so i go and we start doin foot work and about 15 min into the lesson i colapse and so i hae to stop. and so i then lay down on a coach till the end and then i go home and thats the end, leave comments : todays story, part 1 so the story starts earl in the morning before the sun is up (it really was but oh well) i was wakkened by my dad telling me we had to leave to go fencing, so i got up and got dressed then ran downstairs grabed my fencing bag and my sword that was in the doorway, and then i ran out to the jeep and jumped into it. we then took off for the cities, for the next two and half hours i cought up on some sleep, we then arrived there was only 2 min before classes started so i darted out of the jeep and ran to the class threw my stuff on and jumped into the line. i then for the first time met the "jim replacement", but we will just call him the drill sargent from hell or tdsfh for short. so we started doin basic leg work, and then we did some that were more complex, and when someone made a mistake he made us do it over, and then we did it again cause someone messed up again, then he got out the blind folds (this may b the only good thing he did) we were then all blindfolded, out on the strips and i waited for the fate that ws to occur. he then explained that we would do our drills by feel. so he gave the drill and we had to feel the other persons sword and were the pressure was, it was actually really good. then he made us run. but instead of telling us to run he told us to sprint and so we sprinted, but he didnt make us sprint cause he didnt tell us to stop for 10 min, so now everyone is worn out and he tell us to bout. so i find myself in the first battle of the day, it stared off bad my oponenet got the first 5 hits in, then i picked out his stratgy and made every point after that. great victory, my next enemy didnt waste netime and didnt give me a chance to recover and challenged me. so i then went up against another, he made the first strike, it was right below my shoulder and really hard too, so now i could no longeer make my stabs fast and im worn out so im moving slow. so the fight continues, unfortunaltly im not sure who won, i was just glad when it was over i couldnt put up with the bout nemore. i then found a piller and rested against it. 1 min later thios kid who i have never seen shoves me so i glare at him he then staands tall as if to prove something, so i did the same as i wsnt standing tall at all, i am now towering over him, so he walks off, i then notice that he wasnt there for the lesson and so he isnt tired at all. i then notice that he is at the end of a bouting stip but no one is at the other end, he then points hos sword at me then himself then the strip. i got the point and even though im tired and swore i find the strength to face him and get on the strip. so we start fencing at first he dives and unprepared i get hit and face a a painfull blow, im now really mad and this guy who is taking advantage of my being worn out, so the next point starts and i dive at him with every last bit of strength thsat i had and smashed him right in the shoulder. now the score was tied. so we start again and we go at it i catch his blade, but he releases it and is now lunging right into me, so i dive to the side and hit him now rhe score os 2, 1 it goes back and forth like this for awhile, finally after about ten min (this is much longer then normal bouts) i realize hes just wearing me down so i speed things up 2 min later the score is 7, 9 and he has the 9, i take aa deep breath cause i cant loose this bout as by now croud of people are watching us. so now im thinking about the situation and i relize that today was the first time i fenc3d in 2 months, and so now im really pissed off, so i went straight at him again and acted as if i was gonna stab his head my trick worked he went for the bait and blocked it buyt i droped my sword and stabbed him in the ribs, ok now its 8, 9 so we start up again and he comes flying straight at me, and so i stick out my sword and stab him before he gets me. and now its 9, 9 things are really exciting and now instead of being mad im incredibly excoted and i find a pocket of energy so we go for the lat point that will decide it all and we start fencing and we r goin back and forth until finally i score and win, i jad the biggest grin and he just glared, i then went at sat down till the end of class. April 14th, 2004: stupid people so today was a half day, it was ok, i got really frustrated/angry with some people about how inconsistant, hypocritical, and how they pretend to be friends with people and then go and say nasty things bout them, or dont stand up for em, WTF! im getting really pissed at a handfull of my "friends", and other people. April 11th, 2004: yup so yesterday went to see whole ten yards, great movie, and today round 7:25 my mom wakes me up and tells me i have to acolyte for the 8 oclock service, that bugged me cause im always asigned to acolyte for the holiday services, but not only the holiday ones but the early holiday ones. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggg. but i guess it wasnt that bad i had to do stuff i dont usually do and so it was usefull cause i learned some new things that i will have to know when im head acolyte and ill be head acolyte really soon, mabe before the end of this school year, but probably begining of next. so ya, happy easter everyone April 9th, 2004: hmmm, ya, damn lack of titles in my head so yesterday lots o fun hung out with an old friend, great time. he ended up spending he n ight and we had wars with my new bokkens, and then he left today at noon and since then ive been working and then i worked on my boat and now im bummed cause tomorrow i was gonna hang out with a friend but i cant cause she r being busy, so i must try and find someone to hang out with. April 7th, 2004: wow great times, so yesterday anna grant and emory all came over, so first we did the challenge olyimpics, first was a thing wiht onions a race to finish their half, well i won but it sucked and i only won cauise emory forited, onions are from this point on banded from the challenge olympics, i hate onion breath, then we did a race and i won and then emory left, so then we went down to the lake, oh man lots oh fun we found a log, floating in so we threw rocks at it, but it wouldnt sink i thimnit had a force field. then we left and on the way back anna found out that im incredibly ticklish, holy crap, so i got tickled a tonm and i did a lot of falling to the ground and flailing ou of control, thn we hung out at my house and then we gave anna a ride home. then grant and i watched the proncess bride, funny movie. then we went to bed, then today grant and i hung out and then ar like two went uo to kendo at umd, great time, hey grant what r all those marks from, that wasnt me was it, lol. and then i went to kumdo it was great. and now im here and im gonna go to bed son cause something happened (its a good thing) and i am running out of time to act on it and i got a lot to think about, ya im not gonna sleep much tonight. so there be some great piicturse but im to lazy to post em now so maybe later April 5th, 2004: cosmic string hopefully it will work this time but this is the boat im workin on <imgsrc="http://www.imageshack.us/img1/1466/cosmicstring2.jpg"> <imgsrc="http://www.imageshack.us/img1/4335/cosmicstring3.jpg"> cool eh? April 3rd, 2004April 2nd, 2004: hmm, yup so today was good, for basecamp, we went down to bayfront to play soccer, lots o fun, the other side team "won" even though they didnt really, cause they cheated, example i kicked the ball at their gooal, a defense guy who is not the goally stops it with his hand, the team then says that hes the goally sso it "ok" so just that would have tied the game, cause my kick would have been a point. so that was a bummer but it was a ton o fun neway. then i went to world religion we had a guest speaker, so that was cool then i went to student forum during lunch, then lake superior a-z, it was ok and then i went to kendo, then i i took the bus (with much confusion) to annas house, event hough i didnt really know where she lived, but i got there, and imediatly we took a bus to school fo the coffee house, which was great, tons o fun, brandons story is the best, so he killed them, great ending. and then i came home and thats my day April 1st, 2004: damn u tyler so today, well alot happened. to start off with the comps at school were being nasty but that wasnt a big deal. then anna came back from her trip so i talked to her for a bit, that was nice. and then kaare doug and i worked on our packts for spanish. then nothing else really happened in the morning, math was easy and boring as usual, and then i ate lunch, went to bump, and then tyler said he wasnt gonna go through with our april fool joke on channel 6 news, that meant i wasnt either cause he was my ride home, god damn u tyler, it would have been great. so then i went to core and then i went to sci. well yesterday we had an evil bio test, i did really really bad i got 68. well it sucked, it sucked for a lot of smart people. and then i went to basecamp nothing new except tomorrow we r going to bayfront with a couple other base camps so thatll be fun and then i went home. i recently heard that bj went and did the jopke neway and it got filmed so im happier i just wish i could have gone too, but no thanks a lot tyler. (im really not that mad at him) and that it |
